Company Policies


Agreement Policy

All bookings, both paid and collaborative, assume that clients have read and agreed to all of Nomad Image’s terms and conditions. All clients are responsible for reviewing our Company Policies before scheduling a session with Nomad Images. Please do not continue with booking if you have any questions or concerns about any of our policies.


Booking Policy

When booking, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date and time. Your session fee deposit can be made in the form of Apple Pay or credit card via the booking website. We accept various payment options, including SquareUp, CashApp, and Zelle. No appointments can be made or honored without a deposit. Deposit payment is an agreement to all of Nomad Images’ policies.

Free consultations are REQUIRED for each booking. Failure to do so will result in the automatic cancellation of the session and forfeiture of the deposit. Phone consults are feasible.


Cancellation/ Reschedule Policy

If you cannot make your photo session, all deposits will act as a cancellation fee. If the session needs to be rescheduled for any reason, a $50 rescheduling fee will be added to your open invoice. 24 hours of advance notice of cancellation is required to credit the deposit towards a future session. The photographer reserves the right to deny service to clients (s) who repeatedly have a history of cancellations. If Nomad Images cannot perform this contract due to fire or other casualties, strike, an act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to the photographer's illness or emergency, then the photographer shall return the retainer fee to the client but shall have no further liability concerning the contract. This shall also apply if photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the photographer. If Nomad Images fails for any other reason, Nomad Images shall not be liable for any amount above all monies paid.


Collaboration Policy

Collaborations are defined as shoots whereby the photographer and/or videographer do not receive any payments for their photography/videography services, and the client does not receive any payments from the photographer/videographer for the services they provide. Clients are responsible for any and all travel fees, location fees, props, clothing, etc. As this is not a paid shoot, clients that agree to participate in collaborative shoots also waive the right to select which (if any) images will be edited and released to the public. Clients that agree to participate in collaborative shoots are required to adhere to all of our Company Policies, with the exception of our image policy, which is reserved for paying clients only. Nomad Images is NOT required to provide proof or edited images within any given time frame to non-paying clients.

In the unlikely event that digital files have been lost, stolen, or destroyed for reasons beyond the photographer’s control, including but not limited to camera, hard drive, or equipment malfunction, the photographer is not liable to produce or reproduce products of the session under their digression. The photographer is not liable for the loss of images prior to or after the final delivery of all products of the package. The client acknowledges and agrees with the terms of the collaboration if the client decides to move forward with the collaboration with the photographer.


Copyright Policy

All photographs and footage are and shall remain the sole intellectual property of the photographer per the United States Copyright Laws. The Client hereby waives any rights to intellectual property ownership, monetization, or reproduction of the images and footage created by the Photographer, with the exception of the terms of any formal written releases provided to the Client by the Photographer.

By paying the initial deposit and agreeing that this document has been read the photographer does grant the Client the right to print images for personal or family use. the photographer grants the client the right to publish the photographs on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc) and personal websites. If the client wishes to use images for commercial, multimedia advertising, sale, etc the photographer will provide the documentation and invoice for such matters. The Client may present this contract to photo printing companies if they request authorization from the Photographer.


Creative License

Images are edited at the photographer’s discretion, and delivered prints may not include all images shot. The photographer reserves the creative rights to edit and release only those images deemed creditable as professional in quality and within the photographer’s artistic standards.


Late Fee

A $50 surcharge will be added to the invoice for clients that are 15 minutes late to the session. A $75 surcharge will be added to the invoice for clients that are 30 minutes late to the session. After 30 minutes, the session will be canceled, and the client must pay the remaining session balance (including all surcharges).

Session end times will not be extended to accommodate client lateness. If Nomad Images has the availability to extend the session, the client may pay for additional time within business hours. The session will be canceled if a client is late near the close of business. The session may be rescheduled within normal business hours if the client needs additional time. Another session will have to be booked to cover any missed looks.


Image Policy

Proof images are returned to the client within three business days from the session date. The proof images are unedited, watermarked, and cannot be downloaded or used.

To inform the photographer of the images you would like edited, please create and finalize your selection within three business days after receipt of proof images. I will reach out once to follow up with the creation of your list. If selections are not finalized after three business days, I will select which pictures will be edited based on our professional opinion.

Edited images take 7-30 business days to be returned. If the client requests additional edits outside of the original package, an additional two business days per image is reflected. Once these edits are completed and/or sent, there will be no changes or revisions. If the client elects to pay for a revision of a specific image, they will be charged $35 per revision, and revisions will be returned in 3-5 business days.

Rush editing is available for an additional fee which (1-3 dat return) is available for $60 per image.

Access to download and use unwatermarked images removal fee is 100% of the package.


Model Release

This photography contract serves as a model release. The client grants the photographer the right to use all images and footage without restriction for advertising, portfolios, and other lawful purposes. The client waives the right to inspect any images produced using the images or footage from the events in this contract and the right to restrict the use of the images or footage from the listed events by the photographer.


Payment Policy

Sessions can be paid in full before or immediately after the shoot via cash, debit, or credit card. Checks are not accepted. Services provided are services rendered.


Refund Policy

There is a no-refund policy for all bookings within 24 hours of the scheduled shoot or afterward. This includes the nonrefundable deposit; proper arrangements shall be discussed if a client is unsatisfied.
